My heart is broken, today I lost a friend.

This is my dog Sir Vladimir. He was the best dog in the whole world (no really, he was). Vlady was a true gentleman had nearly perfect manners and a goofy personality. He loved string cheese, soft pillows, belly rubs, honey (his girlfriend), rides n the car, me and my mom (that's her in the pics). Vlady knew lots of great tricks, he was our cul-de-sac mascot. Everyone loved the Vlad, the kids, the UPS man and pretty much anyone who was lucky enough to meet him.
Vlady was the epitome of what a dog is and should be...loyal, loving and forgiving. He was my dog and I couldn't handle knowing he was in pain even though he didn't complain. I will miss him and I will never have another one quite like him. He was special, noble and a great friend of mine. Thank you Vlady for five great years and I know I will see you in heaven. I am sure they have string cheese, chewies and lots of belly rubs up there. All dogs go to heaven, especially ones like you.~~Shasta

WHY, WHY, WHY!!!!!!!!!!!

Look what I woke up to this morning! No less than 6-8 inches of freezing cold, white snow! I am SOOOOOOO done with winter this year. This is my backyard that a week ago had the beginnings of new grass, some new tulips and buds on the trees. Why I ask, why, why, why. I know we need the moisture, blah, blah, blah so let it rain I say!!!!!!!~Shasta

Bora Bora sunset

This is not my pic, but this is EXACTLY what I saw everynight but one. The sky looked like God had painted it with all his favorite colors. We have all seen beautiful sunsets, but have you ever seen one with purple in it? I had never seen it nor have I seen it since visiting the FP Islands. I think I saw a glimpse of what heaven will be like everynight I was there. Shasta
More Bora pics

So, these are some more pics from that fun trip. Bora is gorgeous as I said before, but I nearly starved to death. You see, my idea of vacation is to eat my way thru the trip and nothing there was very yummy. They grow nothing on the islands, so nothing is fresh. Put that aside and you have one fabulous trip. I can't find my sunset pics and that makes me sad, I'll keep looking. Shasta

I found some old pics, good times :o)
These are some sharks I swam with in Bora Bora. They were BIG! Not hungry though. There were probably sixty of them in the water with us at the time. These particular sharks were about six feet long. Way down below (about 30 ft. down) the big ones lurked, they were about 8-9 ft. long. I swear I could hear the Jaw's song da...da...da..da.da.da.da.....aaaaaah! The water in the French Polynesia Islands is unbelievable, warm and crystal clear.
These little guys were hanging out underneath our underwater bungalow. We had a ladder from our room right down to the ocean, isn't that the coolest?! Our housekeeper would leave us old bread everyday to feed the fish, so we always had lots of fishies to look at.
That is not a manatee, it's me! I love that fish for strategically placing himself right over my lovely thighs. I loved Bora, you really should go if you ever have the chance. I will try to find some of the sunset pics I took, they will take your breath away. What a beautiful world God created, don't you think? Tell me about your favorite trip.
